What is the difference between this and the thermal inspection?
The photo check is visual only: what a camera can see. The $599 thermal roof inspection adds a Matrice 4T thermal pass that can show heat loss and insulation gaps that photos can't.
Is this a building or weathertightness report?
No. It is a photo record with a short plain-language summary, not a registered building surveyor's report or a weathertightness certificate.
Do I pay if you find nothing wrong?
Yes. The fee covers the flight and the photos and applies whatever we find.
Can I upgrade to thermal later?
Yes. If the photos raise questions, we can book a thermal roof inspection. Thermal leak checks are not offered on membrane or metal roofs.
