Frequently asked questions
What does the trade rate cost?
$349 +GST per roof capture, or $150 +GST per hour for multi-roof days. Travel is free within 40 km of Te Awamutu.
Which roofs can you do thermal on?
Thermal leak checks are for tile, concrete tile, slate and similar roofs. We do not offer thermal leak detection on membrane or metal roofs, and we do not take moisture-meter readings. Photos can be done on any roof.
Who writes the report?
You do. We supply the imagery and short notes on what we flew; your report and findings stay yours.
What are the flight limits?
We fly under CAA Part 101: daylight, visual line of sight and under 120 m, clear of people not involved. Some sites near aerodromes or very busy areas may need extra planning or may not be possible.
Does the fee change if nothing is found?
No. The fee applies whatever we find.
